POST YOUR STORY & MODEL
Nicole
I uncomplicated my thinking. I’ve given myself permission to tackle innovation in bite sized chunks & I’m getting trusted people in my network involved to test out my ideas and give feedback.

What’s holding me back is my own doubts and projecting into the future. My model represents the barriers and complications I’ve imagined.

Mantras:
money supports me (chest supporting slide)
Failure is just a different path than I originally imagined.
I don’t have to see where innovation will lead, I just have to keep playing.

Lack of clear vision, needing monetary results, and fear of failure limit my innovation.
Vision: My minifig lacks eyes and doesn’t see exactly what he should
do with his innovative ideas.
Monetary results: sometimes I think whatever I do should bring money instead of money showing up in other ways to support my purpose. (Treasure box at bottom)
Failure: The orange ramp wants to cause failure- by taking the ball or innovation off its blue path.

Time can also be my friend. With each project I undertake and each new technology I work with, it builds on my experience and capability. This is represented by a plant growing out of a wheel on the laptop in the centre of my clock. I’ve also added people around me at 12 o’clock. Discussing my project/solution with colleagues (and to some extent, others in the industry), I’m able to leverage off their knowledge and similar expereinces. This will reduce my ramp-up time on a project and allow me more time to be creative.
